Thanks for the feedback Jesse! We definitely know that fighting SPAM is going to be important if we want these recommendations to be really useful. We've also noticed that "@username <link>" is a pretty strong indication that its SPAM. Nothing in the immediate, immediate future, but stay tuned!

    Hi Ben,

That's a great productivity hack =) The like button is an iframe, so it should load separately and not block the rest of the interface at all. What are you seeing from the rest of the interface?

Hi Peter, you bring up another interesting limitation with this view, with a couple of solutions that we've played around with, such as filtering/hiding tweets, showing all of the tweets together for a selected X-Y coordinate, and the table view which we've implemented. We'll keeping thinking about solutions, and feel free to give us more input.

Peter, the double encoding of information is a good point, and we're striving to improve the data density so you can really see all the relevant info in one glance (data-ink ratio in Tufte's terms).

We're trying to think of the best way to present this without encoding too much info across the dimensions (X, Y, color, size), so we'll work towards a good balance.
